Aviva Legal Services has taken a closer step towards the paperless office by appointing Compact Data Management to convert approximately 30,000 documents, just short of a million pages, into an electronic format, making it easier than ever for them to be stored and retrieved.
The final appointment was made after Compact impressed Aviva Legal Services with its levels of technical expertise and the quality of its scanned images after each competing bureau was asked to work on a sample, as part of the competitive tender.
The contract is significant in that it reinforces Compact, a Staffordshire firm, as one of the leading pioneers of the paperless office in the UK.
